Thank You from the RCTF Chairman

Hey everyone, Ken Charman here. I’d like to take a few moments of your time to acknowledge the people and businesses that made Roaring Ranger Day another big hit. Without them, none of this would be possible. First of all, I’d personally like to thank the group of outstanding individuals I meet with every Thursday night who dream up ideas, are a wealth of knowledge and information, and have talents on loan from God. Great job everyone !  I also owe my sons Brock, Randy and Troyce a debt of graditude for all they’ve helped me with. ( I love you guys)  The following is a list of others who have contributed in some form or fashion that need recognized. In no particular order they are; Coy & Faye Bargsley, The Ranger High School Band for going above and beyond after playing, Mr. Thompson for the use of the picnic tables, Jessie Speer for the “stage”, King Insurance for the countless efforts that happen from that office (sorry Jen, had to say it), TX cattle Exchange, Ranger Meat, Cowboy Spirits, Cameron Buck (our MC), Summit Staffing, Freddy’s garage (for the use of the shed) , Greers, H&R feed, Fullen motors, Ranger realty, Tessa Culverhouse for the 5k run, The Ranger Fire department, James Warnock, RHPS for yet another wonderful parade, Bradford realty, RL Davis, Ranger Gas gathering, Vasquez’s, Cook canyon ranch, Bill & Sandy Herod, CMR rail salvage, Larry Cunningham, Reta Stoe for taking charge of the motorcycle run, Chuck and Hoot for being ride captains, First Financial Bank, Joel’s paint and body, Marvin Cassey, Walnut Street clinic, Eagle construction, Buck’s Gun School, David & Gail Pickrell, La Finca, State farm, Deublers backhoe service, Jack Blackwell, Fingerless Fiddler, Alpha graphics, Buttercreams & dreams, Briley well service. My apologies if I’ve missed anyone and also if there was a misunderstanding of some sort, it surely was not intentional. I look forward to next years with some new ideas from this year. Give us some time, and check out our web site; rangercitizenstaskforce.org for pictures and other things coming in the future. From the bottom of my heart, Thanks to all of you once again.

Thanks for a Great 2012 Roaring Ranger Day

The weather was perfect, the food delicious, fantastic entertainment was provided by the musicians and performers, and there were plenty of great shopping opportunities.

The main goal of the festival was to provide a great time for those who turned out and, judging by the smiles, the day was a resounding success.

We wish to thank all the citizens, visitors, vendors, entertainers, and parade participants that made it possible. We are already looking forward to 2013! If you have a great idea or constructive suggestions for improving next year’s festival, please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of this post. If you wish to get involved in making Ranger a better place, come join us at our weekly meetings, 6:00 Thursdays at the Ranger Community Center.

Thanks again all,

Ranger Citizens Task Force
