A message from the RCTF Chairman

Hey Everyone, Ken here.  Just a short message to let you know we are still alive and doing well. We’ve had some “issues” with the website due to our friends in the far east. (no, we haven’t gone global, but it is a thought) : )  Anyway, as things become available we will be posting them here for all to see. So please bare with us, we are a work in progress. The definets are: Roaring Ranger Day (RRD) is in full planning stage and is scheduled for Sept.20th. (always the 3rd weekend in sept.) And the parade is still on. So mark your callendar !  Check back to see what’s been added, or if you’re local come to a meeting. 300 loop 254 Ranger.  5:30pm.

Amazon smiles (check this out)

A newly added addition. If you buy anything through Amazon when you go to pay out, you’re asked if you would like a percentage to go to your favorite “non-profit organization”. Of course you’ll immediately think of RCTF and lucky for you we are listed there. Just click on us and away you go. It in NO way changes the price of your purchase. Just another way you can Help Us Help You.

And Thank you in advance !

2014 Roaring Ranger Day Festival September 20

Mark your calendar! The 2014 Roaring Ranger Day Festival is shaping up to be our best yet.  We are expanding all facets of the festival to include more vendors, more games and rides for the kids, great music, unique entertainers.  We will be hosting our annual car show and motorcycle run.  Watch for announcements and schedules for events as confirmations happen.  If you are interested in joining us as a vendor, we encourage you to reserve your booth early.  We already have vendors, musicians and entertainers signed up !!

Thanks for a Great 2012 Roaring Ranger Day

The weather was perfect, the food delicious, fantastic entertainment was provided by the musicians and performers, and there were plenty of great shopping opportunities.

The main goal of the festival was to provide a great time for those who turned out and, judging by the smiles, the day was a resounding success.

We wish to thank all the citizens, visitors, vendors, entertainers, and parade participants that made it possible. We are already looking forward to 2013! If you have a great idea or constructive suggestions for improving next year’s festival, please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of this post. If you wish to get involved in making Ranger a better place, come join us at our weekly meetings, 6:00 Thursdays at the Ranger Community Center.

Thanks again all,

Ranger Citizens Task Force
